You should know how important it is to maintain a good work/life balance. All work and no play, blah, blah, blah, yackity schmakity. But have you thought about your work/work balance? The balance between the time you spend actually doing your job vs. the time you spend doing ?other stuff? at work?
I?ve always thought that one of the best ways to relieve work related stress was to quit talking and put your head down and work for a while. I know this works for me. But what about things you have to do to keep up? Things like education (lifelong learning), business development, building relationships, etc. These things are work (lots of it) but might not be ?what you do? for a living.
I think it?s really important to find a balance between those things and ?doing? the work you?re paid for. Expecially if you want to succeed at a high level.
