For months, I rented a DSL modem from Qwest. For the most part, it worked like a champ. It would occasionally lock up. However, that happened maybe once every 4-5 weeks. Not great, but it was tolerable.
I decided to stop renting and buy one.
The new modem is a serious piece of crap. It locks up every day. We have to proactively reboot the modem at least twice a day. Avoid Qwest’s M100 if at possible.
Later this weekend, I’m replacing the phone with a newer “advanced networking” dsl modem. Let’s hope this one works better…
From Guest Blogger Liz:
I placed an order with AmazonFresh on Wednesday and I was pleasantly surprised with the transaction, and thought I’d share. The fresh produce arrived before 6 AM on Thursday; clean and packaged nicely. Aside from fruits and vegetables, I bought some prosciutto and Italian sausages (they arrived in a temperature-controlled bag with […]

Let it be noted that today, I finally became cool enough to be a licensed Scrivener user. I’m taking on a large for hire writing project. Closed Published February 26th, 2008 on Ryan Stewart - Rich Internet Application MountaineerI’m on my way to 360|Flex in Atlanta and I wanted to quickly talk a bit about my session on Wednesday morning. It’s officially listed in the program as CS3 and Flex 3 from 10:00 - 11:20 on Wednesday morning. The reason for that is that there isn’t enough stuff I can talk about with […]
As seen over at snoopdogg.com:
When you wear a white suit and your hair looks simultaneously like a mullet and a bouffant, yet you are surrounded by beautiful ladies in lingerie, anything you do is pimp.
I couldn’t have said it better myself.
